EUniWell Open Educational Resources Exchange – Why Share, Why Care?

The EUniWell Open Educational Resources Exchange is a hands-on, interactive workshop designed to explore the value of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Educational Practices (OEP), organised on the 23rd of May 2025, under the coordination of the University of Konstanz.

The special feature of this event will be that it will be held in parallel at the EUniWell partner institutions in their respective national languages, which will promote a fruitful exchange of ideas and reflections on the potential of open education. The workshop will start jointly with an online keynote speech and end with a joint conclusion, both in English.

The keynote will be delivered by Professor Mpine Makoe, Executive Dean of the College of Education and Open Distance e-Learning Research Professor at the University of South Africa (UNISA), who will share her perspective on Open Education.

During the main part of the workshop, the participants will discuss in small groups possible advantages and obstacles of OER and OEP depending on the respective actors within the higher education landscape such as students, teachers, university management, education policy makers, etc.

If you are interested in participating, please register via the EUniWell course catalogue. There, you can also find more information about the event. Please note that you do not need to fill out the motivational letter.
